- Can I try the club before joining?
Yes, we offer this possibility and realize the importance of the feeling to try the products and services prior before the join. Therefore, please contact one of our consultant on your interest club. After an initial meeting with the consultant, feel free to train or relax in our facilities.
- Why do I need to join the short or long term?
Holmes Place is a members club. We believe that by creating a habit to train several times a week, our partner will get more familiar with healthy living, which ensures long-term benefits. A change in lifestyle is a process, otherwise a particular purpose may be ineffective and short-term. Furthermore, we know that our partner feel more secure and comfortable with familiar people around you.
- Can I buy a valid signature for all Clubs Holmes Place?
Yes, we offer this type of membership. Please contact one of our clubs for a specific offer on the regional or multi-world club option.
- I need to bring anything to join?
We only need the basic documents as proof of identity (identity card or passport) and proof of your bank details (bank statement or proof of electronic payment). If a part of a company that is according to the club in question, please bring a corporate identity as well.
- There is the possibility to rent a locker?
Yes. In our changing rooms there are separate lockers for rent for a specific period of time. Please ask at reception for details of club costs.
- Can I invite a friend to the club?
We know how important it is to feel comfortable and train with friends, they often are our motivators. That's why we often organize special activities complimentary to invite friends. Moreover, it has the option to speak with one of our consultants and ask them to contact your friend to schedule a visit to the club and a training session. Please note that this invitation is valid once in 3 months.
At the gym
- What is an Initial Orientation?
An Initial Orientation is a meeting about an hour with a personal trainer. During the meeting the personal trainer interview the new partner, a brief assessment of physical condition and adapts the best workout program for individual goals. This session also gives the member the opportunity to become familiar with the PT, and all the machines available on our club. If you lost your Initial Guidance, please contact our personal trainer or consultants to book your session.
- I must schedule an initial orientation or can I ask it on the reception?
All Personal Trainer sessions must be booked in advance at the front desk of the club, to ensure that we have a Personal Trainer available. Book your session at the reception or directly with a Personal Trainer.
- There is some support to help me get the training?
All new members are entitled to an initial orientation with a Personal Trainer, scheduled in advance, which equates to a workout 1h and drafting a customized workout plan. Please see the question: What is an initial orientation? Furthermore, the partner is entitled to a 30 min consultation with our nutritionist to support the training program with a healthy eating plan.
- What should I wear to the club?
We advise you to wear light, comfortable clothes that allow to move freely. Make sure that your choice of clothing does not let the other members uncomfortable. Members can not do exercises on topless and should always have shoes (cross trainers or tennis).
- Should I tell to the Personal Trainer that is my first time at the class?
Our Personal Trainers at the beginning of each class, ask if someone is first, so they can give special attention and counseling, if necessary. Also, feel free to tell Personal Trainer any relevant information about your health or physical condition. See the schedule of classes available.
- I have to reserve group classes?
In most of our clubs and for most classes in the studio is not necessary, due to the vast number of classes and times. However, ask the front desk of the club to the specific class of your interest.
- How often change the class schedule?
We try to make small changes in the schedule of classes as possible to ensure your comfort and convenience for all members. All changes generally relate to the number of people willing to participate in a particular class, or to the summer season, but the schedule does not change more than four times per year.
- At what age can I start going to the club?
Due to the law and the rules of safety at the club, the minimum age of our members is 16. Underage Persons may only join the club with written permission from parents or guardian.
- How can I find me in the club?
In all clubs have personal trainers with a red t-shirt that help at the beginning of the training that can help you whenever you are training. However, if you prefer a more personalized monitoring, can have training with a Personal Trainer. At the beginning of your entry to the club you have right to a class with a Personal Trainer.
- How do I use the group classes?
In Energy or Premium clubs, it is not necessary to register in advance, but we recommend to register in advance to full classes.
